1982 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider Replica - notes provided by the current owner

"This Daytona is based on the chassis and mechanics of a 1982 Ferrari 400i (chassis no 41425).

The body conversion was carried out professionally by Southern Roadcraft in late 2007 and is an exact copy of a Ferrari 365 GTS Daytona
with the plexi-glass bodyshell. The DVLA records the vehicle as a Ferrari 400i 2-seater convertible.

The car has full and detailed service history including a sheaf of bills from assorted marque specialists. The 5.0 litre V12 was
professionally rebuilt in late 2008 (all documented).

She is in mint condition inside and out with 58k recorded miles, MOT ends November 2010. The exterior is Jet Black with Biscuit / Black
leather classic bucket seats, classic dials, classic number plate, CAT1 alarm / immobiliser, power steering, electric windows, mutli-CD
changer, sound amplifier, full Tubi stainless exhaust system, new adjustable performance suspension (including dampers and coils),
copy knock-on wheels, spare wheel, recent made-to-measure cashmere hood to match classic 365 hood, Ferrari toolkit, fire extinguisher
and the underside is sealed against rust.

The car drives extremely smooth and the V12 is loud and sweet - so driving in tunnels will force a big smile! The 5-speed manual
gearbox is precise and smooth. The car starts every time and all time regardless. Oil pressure guage displays perfect levels throughout.
No threat of overheating with the large radiator and double fans. It is a driver's car and I had the pleasure of driving it to Geneva and
Cannes on separate road trips and it never missed a beat or needed any roadside assistance.

This private sale is due to the imminent arrival of a certain Alfa 8C Spider in April/May 2010.

The asking price is a fraction of the cost of a classic 365 and conversion cost was more than the sale price but that's passion for you!"
